Microsoft 2010

My (at this point maybe it can be a regular thing) pilgrimage to Redmond/Bellevue is marked this year by what is most likely the defining moment in modern Microsoft history. The Windows Phone 7 launch. They need this to succeed or it's only going to be a long downward spiral of irrelevency. I actually think they can do it for a frew reasons:
- They're rich
- They are partnering with Linkedin and Facebook instead of fighting them
- The device design is solid and consistent (unlike the Android range)
- The OS/UI are breakthroughs
- The developer ecosystem is huge (.NET.. hello)
- Enterprise (companies want an option beyond Blackberry - and no, big companies WILL NOT roll out thousands of iPhones no matter what Mr. Knitwear thinks.

I'm also looking for updates on some of the major platforms like Dynamics, Office 365, and Azure. And with that.. I'm heading off to Day 1
